The controller is COGNITAB DEV S.R.L., company registration number (CUI) 35057751, registered office at Str. Rodnei nr. 3, sc. A, et. 2, ap. 8, Reșița, Caraș-Severin County, Romania. For any question about your data, contact us at [email protected].

What this policy covers

This policy covers the cognitab.ro website and email correspondence. Each app published by Cognitab Dev has its own privacy policy, linked from the app's page on the App Store or Google Play.

Visiting the website

The website sets no cookies, has no forms and loads no analytics, advertising or social media tools.

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare's servers receive technical data on every visit: your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is needed to deliver the page and to protect the site from attacks. We do not use this data to identify visitors. Cloudflare processes it under its privacy policy, which also covers transfers outside the European Union.

When you email us

If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. We use them only to reply and, if the conversation leads to working together, to prepare a contract.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering messages we receive (Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the GDPR) or, when you ask for a quote, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

We keep correspondence for as long as the conversation needs it. If a contract is signed, the related documents are kept for the period required by Romanian accounting law.

Who receives your data

We do not sell or rent personal data. Only the providers that host the website and our email can access it, and only as far as their service requires. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (Articles 15 to 21) you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to [email protected]. We reply within one month of receiving your request, as Article 12(3) of the GDPR requires.

If you believe we processed your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or to the authority in your own EU country.

Changes
